A series of interiors stores, with wares ranging from stark and sleek to warm and luxurious, have transformed five centercity blocks.

MINIMA Eugenie Perret and Juliette Brody were tired of traveling to New York City to find sleek, streamlined furniture. Their solution was a store of their own design, filled with wares from, among others, Cappellini, Vitra, DesALTo, Frighetto, and WALTer Knoll. "We like things that are totally modern and also very functional - that move on wheels, fold down, or pivot." Perret says. Surprise hits: "Plastic and polished lacquer pieces in bright colors like orange and lime green." 118 North Third Street; 215-922-2002.
