A Hugh Newell Jacobsen Dream House design, the House of Light in Chevy Chase was customized and adapted to cater to the client’s distinct needs and aesthetic desires. From an aerial view, the house takes the shape of an ‘H’ – a composition of linked pavilions joined at perpendicular angles. The interior is sparse and minimalistic with contemporary detailing such as white-washed walls, ebonized hickory hardwood floors, and slender, vertical windows throughout the home. Featuring Minima’s brands: Minotti, Living Divani, Walter Knoll, Gandia Blasco, as well as styling and artwork by Eugenie Perret of Minima.
